DCSecure components include the following:

The Dialer Capture Module is a patented technology designed to connect virtually any manufacturer's digital dialer based alarm panel to an Ethernet Wide Area Network. To accomplish this, it connects on one side to the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) and the digital dialers telco interface, and on the other side to the Ethernet HUB. The module includes an integrated Ethernet Network Interface Module (NIM) with RJ45 connector for quick and easy connectivity to the customers data network. The module is shipped with a mounting bracket designed to be installed on the door of the control panel enclosure.

The DX4020 Module is a SDI bus device for use with only newer Bosch 9000 Series Controls. Used for bi-directional communications over an Ethernet network utilizing TCP/IP protocol. Provides complete event (alarm) reporting as well as remote panel programming (upload/download) via the data network. The modules include an integrated Ethernet Network Interface Module with RJ45 connector for quick and easy connectivity to the customers. data network.

The DCSecure Receiver is a PC (with Windows XP Professional operating system) running DCSecure Receiver Software. The Receiver output is compatible with all industry standard alarm monitoring automation systems (MAS, ABM, SIMS, etc.) It connects to the alarm monitoring automation system like any standard alarm receiver (Serial or UDP). Each DCSecure Receiver constantly supervises and administers up to 2000 remote alarm panels. For third-party central station operations, DCSecure Receiver Concentrator software is available for remote monitoring of multiple DCSecure receivers.

The DCSecure Receiver and the Dial-up Alarm Receiver are independent connections to the automation system. The primary communications path for all signals is via the Proprietary WAN-through the DCSecure Receiver-through the Receiver Concentrator-to the Monitoring Automation System. If the WAN connection, the DCSecure Receiver, the Receiver Concentrator, or the Monitoring Automation System fails for whatever reason, signals are automatically sent via the panels telephone line connection directly to the Dial-up Alarm Receiver at the monitoring center until the failure is corrected.
